JAMAR LOZA CALLED UP FOR JAMAICA

2 June 2014

Norwich City Academy graduate called up for national duty.

YOUNG Norwich City striker Jamar Loza - one of the City Academy's rising stars - has been called up to Jamaica's national squad.

Loza, 20, who was born in Kingston, Jamaica, before moving to the UK at the age of six, spent the majority of last season gathering valuable first-team experience on loan, with stints at Coventry City, Leyton Orient and Southend United.

After impressing at his host clubs, he was recalled in April and made his senior debut as a second-half substitute in City's last game of the season against Arsenal at Carrow Road.

Loza linked up with his Reggae Boyz teammates at the weekend and will be part of the squad to face Egypt at Leyton Orient on Wednesday, followed by a clash with World-Cup-bound France in Lille on Sunday.

Congratulations, Jamar!
