Youngsters fall to defeat against Royals

NORWICH City's Under-18s lost 4-1 to Reading at Hogwood Park on Saturday afternoon.

The hosts edged ahead early on but City striker Rhys Browne equalised on the half hour mark when he converted a penalty.

Reading regained the advantage before half-time, and notched two further goals in the second period to secure a comfortable victory.

The defeat leaves the Canaries seventh in the 11-team Barclays Under-18s Premier League South Group, with six games left to play this season.

They are next in action on Saturday March 15 when they take on Arsenal at Colney Training Centre (11am).
