Lokko header secures point for Canaries

NORWICH City's Under-18s came away from Southampton with an excellent point after a 1-1 draw at Staplewood Training Ground.

Kevin Lokko got the Canaries' goal in the first half after George Mells had put the hosts in front early on.

The Canaries had young 'keeper Ben Killip to thank as he made two late saves to deny Chris Regis.

A point leaves Neil Adams' team seventh in the 11-team South Group of the Barclays Under-18s Premier League.

They are next in action on Saturday April 5 when they welcome Manchester City to Colney Training Centre (11am).

NORWICH CITY: Killip; Fox, Lokko (c), Burgess; Efete, Byrne-Hewitt (Couzens 75), Randall, Scales; Simpson (Black 54), Cole (Boateng 65); Browne. Subs not used: Oxborough (GK), Ramsay.
