CHRIS Hughton was forced into two changes as Gary Hooper and Wes Hoolahan were named in his starting eleven for the trip to Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon.

Striker Hooper replaced Ricky van Wolfswinkel, who was missing with a knock to his knee sustained against Tottenham Hotspur, while Hoolahan deputised for the injured Leroy Fer.

City's boss otherwise kept faith with the team that beat Spurs 1-0, with the goalscorer from that game, Robert Snodgrass, looking for his fifth goal of the season.

Norwich and Villa both started the day on 28 points in the Premier League, four clear of the relegation places.

NORWICH CITY: Ruddy; Martin, Yobo, Bassong (c), Olsson; Tettey, Johnson; Snodgrass, Hoolahan, Redmond; Hooper. Subs: Bunn (GK), Whittaker, Howson, Pilkington, Elmander, Becchio, R Bennett.
