Youngsters to recognise season achievements

NORWICH City's Academy hosted their 2013-14 awards evening at Carrow Road on Friday night.

Players' Player of the Season awards were given out for each age group from Under-9s up to Under-16s, while there was also a special achievement award given to Josh Murphy, who has made 13 first-team appearances this campaign.

Academy Manager Ricky Martin said: "It was a great opportunity for all our young players to come together as a group, which doesn't happen very often.

"Every player received a certificate for their year, and we gave some prizes for Players' Player of the Year and we also recognised our Goal of the Season.

"To reinforce what a wonderful Club we are, all the winners will be announced to the crowd before the first-team's game against Arsenal on Sunday, which will be a great experience for them."
