FOX AND NASH TO LEAVE THE CLUB

23 May 2014

Pair set for departure this summer

DAVID Fox and Carlo Nash will depart the Club this summer when their contracts expire, confirmed manager Neil Adams to canaries.co.uk.

Midfielder Fox joined the Canaries in the summer of 2010 from Colchester United, and finished third in the Player of the Season voting for the 2010/11 Championship promotion winning campaign.

He made 75 appearances for the Club in all competitions, scoring once, with his last outing in yellow and green coming in the 3-0 FA Cup Third Round replay defeat to Fulham in January.

Nash was signed last summer on a free transfer from Stoke City as experienced cover for John Ruddy and Mark Bunn, but failed to make a competitive appearance, starting his only game against Portland Timbers during the pre-season tour of the United States.

Adams said: "They are two thoroughly professional players with great attitudes and I wish them well in whatever they do next."

The Club would like to place on record its thanks to David and Carlo and wish them the very best for the future.
