Chelsea boss wary of battling Canaries

JOSE Mourinho says the importance of tomorrow’s game for Norwich City will make it a ‘very difficult’ challenge for his Chelsea side.

While the Blues’ require a win to keep alive their faint hopes of winning the Premier League title, the match holds even higher stakes for the Canaries, who know they need points on the board.

“They are playing the game of their lives so it's going to be very difficult,” Mourinho said at his pre-match press conference at Cobham.

“They have two games to decide where they are next season; are they in the Championship or the Premier League?

“Are they playing against Arsenal or Man United? Are they playing at Anfield or the Emirates? Are they playing midweek in the Championship?”

On his team’s own targets, he added: “We know that we play against two teams that desperately need the three points, but we also need the points to finish third and guarantee a Champions League spot next season.

“The only thing we can do is win both matches. Imagine if we are not champions because we don't win these two matches. It wouldn't be a good feeling for the players.”
