CITY BOSS REACTS TO LEEDS DRAW

21 October 2014

Manager takes more positives despite disappointing outcome

NORWICH City’s performance in their 1-1 draw against Leeds United included plenty of positives according to manager Neil Adams.

Russell Martin headed the Canaries in front in the second half but Souleymane Doukara’s instant reply ended with the spoils being shared at Carrow Road.

His team were on the front foot from start to finish, with Adams having few complaints about their overall display the final result.

“I’ve got to say I thought we were excellent tonight. We played very well,” he told Norwich City TV after the match.

“We completely dominated the game – I don’t think we created enough chances against Fulham, but I thought we did tonight.

“I thought we dominated the midfield – the two in there were excellent, we defended very well but what has cost us tonight again is an individual mistake.

“We probably need a little bit of luck – it’s not going our way at both ends of the pitch at the minute, but looking at the season now 13 games in we’ve played some good stuff. Obviously we’ve tailed off in terms of getting victories, but I certainly won’t criticise the players.”
