City snatch point at Staplewood

HARLEY Black scored a superb late free-kick to earn Norwich City's Under-18s a 1-1 draw away to Southampton.

The young midfielder whipped in a set-piece four minutes from time to secure Jerry Gill's youngsters a point at Staplewood.

Marcus Barnes' goal early in the second half had given Saints the advantage but City were the better side after the break, keeping the ball efficiently and eventually getting their reward.

They are next in action at Colney on Saturday November 1 when they welcome West Ham United.
