The Canaries visit Shrewsbury Town in the Capital One Cup

SHREWSBURY TOWN v NORWICH CITY
Capital One Cup Round 3
19.45 kick-off
Greenhous Meadow
Tuesday, September 23, 2014

TEAM NEWS
Neil Adams told the media at Colney on Monday morning to expect changes for the Capital One Cup tie at Greenhous Meadow.

One player who will definitely be rested is Wes Hoolahan, with others expected to follow suit, opening the door for members of the squad who haven’t featured as regularly to make an impression.

Jonny Howson (knee) and Gary Hooper (ankle) played an hour for the Under-21s on Friday and could feature on Tuesday night, but Ryan Bennett and Mark Bunn (both ankle) are ruled out.

Shrewsbury boss Micky Mellon has no new injury concerns, although the match is likely to come too soon for Dave McAllister (ankle).
