Defender's efforts recognised by organisationNORWICH City captain Russell Martin has been named in the Professional Footballer's Association 'Team of the Year' for the Sky Bet Championship.
The 29-year-old has been a near ever-present for the Canaries this term, while also finding the net in the league games against Leeds United and Brighton at Carrow Road.
His form was recognised earlier this year in the shape of a new three-year contract, tying the defender to the Club until at least the summer of 2018.
Signing from Peterborough United in January 2010 following a successful loan spell, Martin has gone on to make 227 City appearances in all competitions to date..
