Kean, Bennett and Andreu also to feature

CITY fans will have the opportunity to see Martin Olsson make his comeback from injury in Friday's Under-21s game against Chelsea at Carrow Road (7pm).

Alex Neil revealed at his pre-Southampton press conference on Thursday that he plans to give the Sweden international some valuable minutes as an over-age player in the Barclays Under-21s Premier League fixture.

Olsson is yet to play for the first team this season after undergoing a shoulder operation soon after the Canaries' Play-Off Final victory over Middlesbrough in May.

Supporters can take advantage of our FREE ticket offer for the game, with senior players Jake Kean, Elliott Bennett and Tony Andreu also set to feature for Dmitri Halajko's side.

Neil said: "It's important for Martin to get some minutes under his belt because he was out for the entire pre-season.

"He's at that stage now where he needs to play, and this Under-21s game is a good opportunity for him."

The Club regularly attracted bumper crowds to Under-21s games at Carrow Road last season, with 10,405 turning out for the 3-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur last October.

Halajko, who took over as manager of the group in July, is pleased that the popular scheme is back for the 2015-16 campaign, starting on Friday night against the Blues.

"The games that have a crowd are the best ones that we play," he told

"They certainly have a different edge to them, and it makes the environment more realistic for our Under-21s players. We had the biggest average attendance last year, which was really special for the lads.

"It gives matches an extra edge, and shows the strength of the club’s fanbase. They are the types of games all the boys want to be involved in."

Free tickets for both of Norwich City's Under-21s matches at Carrow Road in September are also now available for supporters.

Halajko's side will first entertain Dutch outfit PSV in their opening game of the Premier League International Cup on Wednesday, September 2 (7pm) at Carrow Road, before Liverpool's U21s visit on Monday, September 21 (7pm).

Tickets for all three matches can be claimed online HERE, by calling 0844 826 1902 or in any of the three Canaries Official stores.
