The latest squad news from ColneyALEX Neil will be able to call upon the services of Wes Hoolahan for Saturday's meeting with Everton (12.45pm).
The attacking midfielder was withdrawn from contention for last weekend's defeat at Watford after sustaining a knee injury.
Despite initial worry over the diagnosis, Neil revealed that the Republic of Ireland international has trained in the build up to this weekend's match.
"He joined in the latter part of the week, and he came through that fine so he should be in contention for the game," said City's boss on Friday.
"He had a problem behind his knee. We got a scan on it and it didn't make good reading, however his feeling about his knee wasn't as bad as the scan suggested.
"We've cranked it up as the week developed, and there's been no reaction to it."
Matt Jarvis (knee) remains City's only long-term absentee, but the winger did take to the grass for the first time this week.
"He's doing well with his rehab. He's developing fine at the moment, but we just need to be patient," Neil told Norwich City TV.
