Young Canaries defeat Foxes
Goals from Bilal Kamal, Tom Walters and Timi Odusina helped the Canaries past the Foxes, following on from last week's FA Youth Cup success against Hull.
Having made nine changes for the Barclays Under-18s Premier League fixture, manager Graeme Murty credited the response of those who came into the team against Leicester.
"We gave players a chance to stake their claim, which is how we framed it to them," he told canaries.co.uk.
"They played in difficult conditions against a strong opponent, but managed it really well. It rounded off a good week for the players.
"They've had a lot thrown at them but stood up to it all excellently. I'm very proud of them because they've come away with two positive results in difficult circumstances."
"The bench was absolutely buzzing when he scored," said Murty.
"As a group, we were all really happy for him. Tom has missed a lot of his scholarship through injury, and everyone recognises the hardships he's faced.
"Across our last two games the squad has come together. Both performances have looked like team performances which is a very pleasing aspect for us."
