REPORT: WEST HAM 1-2 U18s

21 February 2015

City youngsters continue impressive form

NORWICH City Under-18s registered their third win in succession with a 2-1 victory over West Ham United at Little Heath on Saturday.

The visitors began the day in perfect fashion when Harley Black curled home a trademark free-kick with just two minutes gone to give City an early lead.

City protected that advantage until 15 minutes from time, when Jahmal Hector-Ingram struck to draw the Hammers level.

However, the Canaries responded superbly to seal all three points just two minutes later when Benny Ashley-Seal displayed composure to capitalise on a West Ham mistake and calmly slide into the net.

The result sees Jerry Gill's side extend their winning run to three matches, following successes by the same scoreline over Leicester City and Southampton in recent weeks.

City's next match sees them travel to Arsenal on Saturday (11am), with the Gunners now just five points ahead of them in the Barclays Under-18s Premier League.
