U18s PREVIEW: WEST BROM

5 February 2015

City youngsters face the Baggies

Jerry Gill's team will be looking to continue their positive end to the season, after a highly-impressive performance against Leicester City last weekend saw them clinch a deserved 2-1 victory.

NORWICH City Under-18s face their West Bromwich Albion counterparts at the West Midlands side's training ground on Saturday (12pm).Β

That has seen a number of particularly young players take to the field in recent games, including City representatives who are eligible at U15s level.

With just four Barclays Under-18s Premier League matches now remaining, the Canaries have used the last few weeks to begin laying the foundations for their 2014-2015 campaign.

Their involvement has coincided with a series of promising displays, such as the home draw against Fulham a fortnight ago and the win over the Foxes.

The reverse meeting between the sides in October ended in a 0-0 stalemate at Colney Training Centre, with each team cancelling the other out in a tight affair.
