City youngsters beaten by Villa

NORWICH CITY Under-18s fell to a 6-0 defeat against their Aston Villa counterparts at Colney Training Centre on Saturday.

The Canaries found themselves undone by a strong Villa side, with Harry McKirdy causing particular problems by getting on the scoresheet twice while also adding two assists to his name.

He was matched in his efforts by visiting forward Andre Green, who also notched a brace in addition to laying on two goals for his team in the Barclays U18s Premier League clash.

Further strikes from Rory Hale and substitute Rushian Murphy secured an emphatic victory for the travelling side, who defeated Fulham 7-1 in their previous outing and currently sit behind leaders Chelsea in the South section of the division.
