City to host Palace in season curtain-raiser

NORWICH City will welcome Crystal Palace to Carrow Road for their first game back in the Barclays Premier League on Saturday, August 8.

Alex Neil's side, promoted from the Sky Bet Championship after a 2-0 Play-Off Final victory over Middlesbrough at Wembley last month, take on the Eagles in a repeat of their opening top flight game from the 2004-05 campaign.

They will then visit Sunderland for their first away match on Saturday, August 15 before hosting Stoke City on Saturday, August 22.

The traditional Boxing Day fixture sees the Canaries travel to White Hart Lane to play Tottenham Hotspur prior to back-to-back home games against Aston Villa on Monday, December 28 and Southampton on Saturday, January 2.

City's closing three matches will see them take on Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, April 30, Manchester United in their final home game on Saturday, May 7 before concluding the season away to Everton on Sunday, May 15.
