U18s PREVIEW: WEST BROM

5 March 2015

Jerry Gill's side enter rearranged Baggies clash in good form

NORWICH City Under-18s travel to West Bromwich Albion this weekend looking to mark the end of their regular season with a fifth consecutive victory.

Those include impressive results against the likes of Southampton and West Ham United, before last weekend's 3-1 victory away to Arsenal.

A win over the Baggies would see City enter the play-off system at the end of their Barclays Under-18s Premier League campaign in fine form following a string of recent successes. BAGGIES' FORM

The reverse meeting between the two sides ended in a 0-0 stalemate at Colney Training Centre in October, with neither able to make the breakthrough in an even contest.

"We had good performances against Southampton, West Ham and Arsenal, and good results. It's no coincidence, because we're playing well and restricting the opposition, which is really pleasing."

"It will be an experienced West Brom team, which I love. That's the challenge we want after the run we've had in recent weeks.

Under-18s coach Jerry Gill is eager for his side to maintain the high standards they have shown of late, and told canaries.co.uk: "West Brom need to win their last game to finish in the top four so they will be going for it.
