Hugely successful fundraising by club, fans and partners.NORWICH City are delighted to announce last Saturday's day of action is set to raise a fantastic grand total of more than £60,000 for the Save the Children Child Refugee Crisis Appeal.
City's fans gave generously to the biggest ground collection ever held by the Club at Saturday's game against Leicester City, with every pound they donated matched up to a maximum of £10,000 by the Club's main sponsor, Aviva.
The money raised is still being counted and a final total will be published at Canaries.co.uk and the Club's other official channels once it is confirmed.
City Chief Executive David McNally commented: "We are delighted that thanks to the generosity of Norwich and Leicester fans who made a donation on Saturday and the great gesture from Aviva, plus all the other help and support we have received, that we will raise more than £60,000.
"This money will make a potentially life-saving difference to children caught up in this terrible humanitarian crisis and our heartfelt thanks go to all of those who have contributed, and of course to the small army of volunteers from CSF and our supporter groups who helped to make it happen."
