Sweden set for Euro 2016 play-offs

NORWICH City's Martin Olsson helped Sweden secure a 2-0 victory in their final Euro 2016 qualifying game against Moldova in Group G on Monday.

The left-back played 90 minutes in Stockholm as goals from Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Erkan Zengin wrapped up a comfortable home win.

However, the Scandinavian outfit were forced to settle for a play-off place after rivals Russia took all three points in their game against Montenegro.

Meanwhile, striker Dieumerci Mbokani - who was recently shortlisted for the CAF African Player of the Year award - was named as a substitute for DR Congo's friendly against Gabon.

The 29-year-old came on during the second half, with a late goal giving Mbokani's side a 2-1 victory.
