RODGERS ON SUNDAY
Brendan Rodgers praised Alex Neil's Norwich City achievements during his pre-match press conference at Melwood on Friday.
"Norwich will be difficult, Alex has done great. It's up to us to impose our game, our intensity, and take some risks," the Liverpool boss told reporters.
He also revealed that key pair Jordan Henderson and Daniel Sturridge are set to be assessed ahead of the 4pm Anfield kick-off following injury lay-offs.
Rodgers' side are currently tenth in the Premier League table, with their start mirroring that of the Canaries.
Philippe Coutinho admits he is still acclimatising to British weather - but the playmaker has had no problems shining on the pitch since his move to Anfield.
The 23-year-old had an exceptional 2014-15, making 52 appearances in all competitions for his club and securing a spot in the PFA's Team of the Year.
A Brazilian international, the Rio-born Coutinho moved to Inter Milan from Vasco Da Gama as a 16-year-old in the summer of 2008.
Liverpool made their move in January 2013, agreeing a fee of around £8.5m with the Italian giants. He has since played 107 times for the Merseysiders, scoring 17 goals.
LAST TIME OUT
A youthful Reds team drew 1-1 with Bordeaux in their opening Europa League Group B match on Thursday.
Three Academy graduates featured for Rodgers' side, with 18-year-old Jordan Rossiter starting in the middle of midfield.
It was the more experienced Adam Lallana who put them ahead on 65 minutes with a fine strike after nutmegging Bordeaux's Pablo.
Brazilian striker Jussie levelled for the hosts with only ten minutes left on the clock, however, to ensure that the spoils were shared at the Stade de Bordeaux.
