300 volunteers helped launch inaugural race
LAST month, the Club’s Community Sports Foundation hosted the inaugural Run Norwich 10k road race, which saw nearly three and a half thousand runners pound the city’s streets. The event was driven by the Foundation, and was made possible by the enthusiasm of 300 volunteers, who gave up their time on the day to make the first ever Run Norwich a huge success.
Many of those volunteers are guests of the Foundation and Football Club for this evening's Capital One Cup tie against West Bromwich Albion, and will be paraded before the crowd ahead of kick-off.
Then at half-time, members of the Run Norwich operations board and technical team, and prizewinners from some of the event’s different age categories, will pose for photographs on the pitch.
