BILIC ON SATURDAY
Slaven Bilic says Norwich City will provide a stern test when the two teams meet at the Boleyn Ground.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Thursday, the Croatian boss pointed to the Canaries' strengths across the board as he looks to extend his side's fine run of form.
"Norwich are a good side. They are hard to breakdown, they work as a unit. They have a bit of everything," he told reporters.
"This is the Premier League and we know how hard Saturday will be, but we also know what we have to do to win.
"We want to build on our away form, we are going to do everything we can to try and win our fourth consecutive league game."
Dimitri Payet's impact at the Boleyn Ground has been instant since moving from Marseille in June.
The France international has taken no time to adapt to the Premier League, asserting his influence in games and netting three goals already from midfield.
Payet arrived in east London for an eight-figure sum, moving away from football in his native country for the first time.
Born on the French island of Reunion in the Indian Ocean, the 28-year-old previously plied his trade at Nantes, Saint-Etienne and Lille.
LAST TIME OUT
The Hammers exited the Capital One Cup on Tuesday night after a 2-1 extra-time defeat to Leicester City.
Slaven Bilic's side three-match winning run on the road came to an end following Andy King's 116th-minute winner for the Foxes.
After making only three changes from their impressive Premier League win at Manchester City, West Ham quickly fell behind to Joe Dodoo's fine early finish.
Mauro Zarate's superb 25-yard strike brought them level on 27 minutes, but they eventually succumbed when King turned home Christian Fuchs' cross late in extra-time.
