The latest squad news from Colney

CITY are set to welcome back captain Russell Martin into the fold for Saturday's trip to Crystal Palace (3pm).

Martin missed the 3-2 win over relegation rivals Newcastle United last weekend through injury, but speaking to Norwich City TV on Friday manager Alex Neil revealed that the defender has trained this week.

He said: "Russell should be fine. He's done a couple of days work with us and he should be ok for the game."

Nathan Redmond speedy recovery from his own setback led to him making an appearance off the bench against the Magpies at Carrow Road, and Neil said this week has gone smoothly for the winger.

"I think it would have been too soon to start last week, but certainly now after another week's training under his belt he's back to normal," he added.

City's only certain absentee is Alex Tettey, who isn't likely to play again this season after undergoing ankle surgery last month.
