Final home game for City's youngsters
City's youngsters typically play on Saturdays, with their final home game of the Barclays Under-18s Premier League campaign taking place a day earlier than normal.
"It changes our schedule slightly but the players will get what they need ahead of the match," Murty told canaries.co.uk.
"We will ensure they have the number of sessions required going into it. It takes a bit of adjustment, although it's good for us as coaches to have something a little bit out of the ordinary.
"They'll be difficult to play against, but we want to make the game about us."
Murty has told his side to keep their attention on the match itself, as opposed to the team they are set to come up against.
"If the players just look at Manchester United's name then they'll get fixated on that, and not what we want them to do," he explained.
"The players want to end the season on a high and put a marker down for next year. They know they need to earn their shirts for the start of next season.
"It's always about progression. That's what we've been focusing on all year, and if the players take that attitude into the game then I'll be happy."
