ROBBIE Brady opened the scoring with a free-kick as the Republic of Ireland beat Oman 4-0 in an international friendly in Dublin.

Brady curled home after just eight minutes as Ireland marked record goalscorer Robbie Keane's final appearance with a straightforward victory at the Aviva Stadium.

Keane netted the second before Jonathan Walters scored either side of half-time to complete the scoring for Martin O'Neill's side.

Earlier in the evening, Alex Tettey played the second half as Norway slipped to a 1-0 home loss to Belarus in their friendly in Oslo.
