The latest squad news ahead of Saturday

WINGER Jacob Murphy is an injury doubt for the Canaries ahead of Saturday's visit of Sheffield Wednesday (5.30pm).

The youngster's stunning goal on his first league appearance for the Club at Blackburn last weekend set City on their way to a convincing opening day triumph.

But Alex Neil told Norwich City TV on Friday: "Unfortunately Jacob's got a little issue so that will be one that we need to monitor, a late decision will be made on that."

A last-minute assessment will also determine the availability of Martin Olsson, who hobbled off at Ewood Park, while Graham Dorrans is unlikely to return - but Neil gave Jonny Howson the all-clear while confirming Russell Martin and Robbie Brady are back in his plans if required.

The pair featured for an hour in the 3-0 victory for a Norwich City XI over Colchester United at Colney Training Centre on Monday.

"They're back in contention, even though it was only 60 minutes that both of them got so I wouldn't say that they're firing fit, but they're certainly ready if I need them," he added.

Matt Jarvis remains City's only long-term absentee after he underwent knee surgery during pre-season.
