TEAM NEWS: NORWICH v BRISTOL CITY

15 August 2016

The latest squad news ahead of Tuesday

ALEX Neil will need to utilise the depth in his squad against Bristol City on Tuesday after admitting that John Ruddy and Martin Olsson are unlikely to feature.

The Canaries' goalkeeper and left-back each went off during Saturday's 0-0 draw with Sheffield Wednesday and Neil said they were awaiting scans to determine the severity of each injury.

"We've had scans done and we should get the results of them soon. I doubt they will be available for tomorrow's game," Neil told Norwich City TV on Monday.

"I don't think it will a long-term problem for either, I think it will be a couple of weeks and nothing more than that."

On Jacob Murphy and Graham Dorrans, he added: "They are progressing and getting better, I'm not sure they will make this game though.

"Jacob had some issues with his hamstring after the Blackburn game and unfortunately it's not settled down quickly enough."
