JONNY HOWSON: WE HAVE TO MAINTAIN BELIEF

16 December 2016

Midfielder nets in defeat to the Terriers

NORWICH City must maintain self-belief if they are to escape from the Sky Bet Championship rut they find themselves in, says midfielder Jonny Howson.

The Canaries suffered a 2-1 defeat at home to Huddersfield Town on Friday evening, a result which meant a seventh loss over the past nine league outings.

Such form has seen Alex Neil's men slide down the table, and after his side were beaten by The Terriers Howson told Norwich City TV: "We have to stick together and keep working hard.

"We have to keep believing that it will turn around. You've got to do that as you can only affect things in the future.

"Our recent form doesn't lie. It's something we need to address as it's got to change if we want to achieve anything this season, everyone knows that.

"We'll take it one game at a time but have to add consistency
