Spyrou hat-trick secures victory for the young Canaries

CITY's youngsters continued their unbeaten streak on Saturday with a win against Tottenham Hotspur in the Under-18s Premier League.

Anthony Spyrou opened the scoring after 23 minutes to put City ahead but five minutes later, Spurs midfielder Jack Roles put one past Ryan Dickerson to bring the visitors level.

Spyrou netted again seconds before half-time to put City back in front, with the wideman completing his hat-trick after 61 minutes.

The Lilywhites reduced the gap nine minutes before the final whistle thanks to forward Reo Griffiths.

In the final moments of the game City forward Alan Fleming recived a yellow card along with Spurs defender Japhet Tanganga and goalscorer Griffiths. After the game, Griffiths recieved a second yellow for dissent.

The Under-18s find themselves 7th in the league with a trip to Chelsea up next.
