The latest squad news ahead of New Year's Eve

NORWICH City will definitely be without at least two of their central midfielders when they travel to Brentford on New Year's Eve (5:30pm).

Jonny Howson's
dismissal at Reading means he faces a one-match suspension, with Graham Dorrans being forced off early in the same match through injury.

Speaking to Norwich City on TV on Friday, manager Alex Neil said: "Graham is going to be missing for quite a few weeks.

"He's got a medial ligament injury, which is not great. It's unfortunate, but when things aren't going your way it seems to be how it happens.

"Jonny is going to miss the game too which is a blow but we've got other guys in there who can do a job."

Louis Thompson remains unavailable through injury, while Matt Jarvis is continuing to make progress following a long-term absence.
