The latest squad news from ColneyGARY O'Neil will miss Tuesday's meeting with Tottenham Hotspur as he serves the final game of his three-match suspension.
He is the only certain absentee for the visit of Mauricio Pochettino's side, but City boss Alex Neil revealed: "We've actually got a little bit of bug going through the camp at the moment which is disappointing.
"We'll see how that pans out over the next couple of days."
Timm Klose is nearer to being involved, with Neil confirming that the Swiss international has trained well in the ten days since City's last outing against Liverpool.
"He's in a much better position now Timm. You've got to bear in the mind that he hadn't played for a few weeks because of the mid-season break in Germany," he said.
"We needed to get him up to speed and he's in a much better place now than what he was."
Considering new loan signing Patrick Bamford's chances of featuring, Neil added: "It really depends on him. He will come in and compete with Dieumerci Mbokani and Cameron Jerome, and it will be up to him to show his qualities and stake his claim.
"We'll see him on Friday and see where he is. We can then make a decision."
On Alex Tettey, who missed the Liverpool defeat through illness, he commented: "Al wasn't well but that was ten days ago now, so we're hoping he should be ok."
