Supporter groups to be celebrated against West Ham

NORWICH City will welcome and celebrate its diverse range of supporter groups as it hosts the Club's annual Global Canaries Day when West Ham United visit Carrow Road in the Barclays Premier League on Saturday (3pm).

A number of fan groups, including Capital Canaries, Scottish Canaries, UAE Canaries, Kent Canaries, Hong Kong Canaries, Channel Island Canaries, Hampshire Canaries, Posh Canaries, Proud Canaries and Forces2Canaries will mark the day by forming part of a half-time pitch parade.

Please give your fellow members of the Yellow Army a big round of applause as they go around the stadium showing their colours and group flags.

Representatives of some of these groups will also join us pitchside ahead of kick-off to bring out the matchball to place on the Barclay Premier League plinth.

Gemma Gifford, Media Relations Manager, said: "Saturday is our annual celebration and get-together for Global Canaries, who are representatives of supporter groups throughout the UK and abroad.

"It is an opportunity for the Club to shows its support for the fans, who always demonstrate loyalty in their own backing of the team. We encourage those at Carrow Road to give them a warm reception."
