RANIERI ON SATURDAY
Claudio Ranieri says 'managing the pressure' is key for his title-chasing side as they prepare for this weekend's visit of the Canaries.
"I told my players that it will be a big battle on Saturday. It will be harder than against Arsenal," outlined the veteran Italian manager at his pre-match press conference on Thursday.
"They’ll (Norwich) want to be close and go on the counter, but they have great players who can really play football. We must be focused.
"We want to grow and stay at a high level. Now, we have to manage the pressure and have the confidence. It’s new for us."
N'Golo Kante, a revelation for the Foxes, leads the Premier League individual stats tables for both tackles and interceptions.
Yet prior to this season, the combative midfielder was an unknown name to most football fans in this country.
After being rejected by a number of teams in France as a youngster, Kante eventually forced his way into Boulogne's team - a second tier French side - in 2012.
His performances for Caen in their promotion-winning campaign last year earned him a transfer to England in August for a reported fee of £5.6m.
LAST TIME OUT
Arsenal needed a last-gasp winner to edge the highly-anticipated between the two teams a fortnight ago at the Emirates Stadium.
As Leicester had done when they lost 5-2 to the Gunners earlier in the campaign, they went ahead when Jamie Vardy scored from the penalty spot just before half-time.
It was Danny Welbeck, playing in his first competitive match for ten months, who popped up with the vital goal deep into stoppage time, hauling Arsene Wenger's team to within two points of the Premier League leaders.
