Midfielder reflects on successive City wins
The midfielder guided home superbly to decide the contest on 76 minutes, soon after the visitors were reduced to ten men following the dismissal of Victor Wanyama for a second bookable offence.Â
That ensured successive maximum hauls for the Canaries following Monday's win over Aston Villa, lifting Alex Neil's men six points clear of the relegation zone.
Speaking to Norwich City TV after the match, Tettey said: "It's massive because we knew we had to try and get back-to-back wins.
"That's happened today, which means we're very pleased. It's something we hadn't yet done this season so we're really happy.
"We have two clean sheets in a row now, and that's pleasing as a team. It's been a good month for us despite some difficult fixtures.
"We have to continue picking up points now because that's what it's all about."
"It was nice to do a Yaya Toure today, so I'm very pleased," laughed the 29-year-old.
"After I made contact with the ball I looked up and it was going in, so it was a great goal. Like I've said before, whenever I score a goal it gets talked about!
"Vadis [Odjidja] was great with the assist and did very well when he came on. In training he's been really impressive, which the gaffer has seen.
"He's doing really well and has to continue that."
