Chelsea forward joins Canaries on loan
Date of birth: September 5, 1993
NORWICH City earlier completed the signing of Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford on loan until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old came through the Academy ranks at Nottingham Forest, making two senior appearances before being snapped up by the Blues in January 2012.
He subsequently enjoyed fruitful loan stints at MK Dons in both the 2012-13 and 2013-14 seasons, scoring a total of 21 goals in 44 appearances across both spells.
Having impressed in Sky Bet League One, Derby County then offered Bamford the chance to prove his talent a level further up when they signed him on loan for the closing months of the 2013-14 campaign.
Bamford went on to strike eight times in 14 league starts to help guide Steve McClaren's side to the Sky Bet Championship play-off final, where they were beaten late on by Queens Park Rangers.
Similar was to come the following season while the forward was on loan to Middlesbrough; again leading his team to the final hurdle only to find the Canaries in his way at Wembley Stadium this time around.
However, a tally of 17 goals in 38 league appearances proved enough to see Bamford crowned as the 2014-15 Sky Bet Championship Player of the Year to cap off a stellar term individually.
The England Under-21 international joined Crystal Palace on loan at the start of this season, featuring six times before linking up with Alex Neil's men.
