Canos scores in pre-season victory

NORWICH City's Under-23s continued their pre-season with a 2-0 win at Dartford on Saturday, in a game which saw Ebou Adams return to his former club as a substitute.

Sergi Canos was among those included in the Canaries' travelling party, with Alex Neil outlining the need for the former Barcelona midfielder to get more minutes before the regular season gets underway.

The visitors went in front midway through the first half, Carlton Morris capitalising on an open goal to give his side a 1-0 lead at the interval.

City struck the woodwork soon after the restart, before Dartford were handed the opportunity to get back into the game when they were awarded a penalty.

However, goalkeeper Aston Oxborough produced a fine save to deny Andy Pugh from the spot, before Canos expertly curled home a second to complete the scoring.

NORWICH CITY: Oxborough, Ramsay (Lewis), Efete, Grant (c) (Crowe), Turner, Godfrey, Canos, Thompson, Morris (Jaiyesimi), Cantwell (Adams), Hoope. Subs not used: Hallet (GK).
