Lafferty plays in Northern Ireland's final Euros warm-up game

THREE Norwich City players were in international action on Saturday night.

Kyle Lafferty finished his match preparation for the European Championship by playing 55 minutes in Northern Ireland's 0-0 stalemate with Slovakia in Trnava.

Michael O'Neill's side, who in qualifying for this summer's tournament booked their place at a major finals for the first time in 30 years, will kick-off against Poland on Sunday, June 12.

Elsewhere, Scotland took on Euros hosts France in Metz and were soundly beaten 3-0 after goals from Arsenal pair Olivier Giroud (2) and Laurent Koscielny.

City's Russell Martin and Steven Naismith both featured in the one-sided friendly, with Martin completing 90 minutes and Naismith replacing Steven Fletcher as a second half substitute.
