Academy graduate plays for England's Under-20s

HARRY Toffolo was the only Norwich City player in international action on Sunday, playing in England Under-20s' 2-1 friendly defeat to Canada.

The defender, currently on loan at Peterborough United, was selected in Keith Downing's starting eleven at Doncaster Rovers' Keepmoat Stadium and played the full match at left-back.

Canada goals from Kadin Chung and Marco Bustos proved enough to secure the win, even though England hopes of a comeback were sparked when Kasey Palmer converted Marcus Rashford's pass 20 minutes from time.

James Maddison was originally picked in Downing's squad but the Coventry City loanee had to withdraw from contention after sustaining an injury in the build-up to the match.
