Murphy twins, Maddison and Norman all play

FOUR Canaries players featured on loan for their respective clubs on Tuesday night.

Coventry City's slide in form continued in Sky Bet League One as they lost 2-1 away to Shrewsbury Town, with Jacob Murphy (pictured) and James Maddison each involved.

Murphy completed 68 minutes while Maddison was introduced as a 75th-minute substitute, but the Sky Blues lost their fourth game in a row after first half Shrews goals from Sulley Kaikai and Shaun Whalley.

Meanwhile in the Sky Bet Championship, Josh Murphy's MK Dons played out a 0-0 with relegation rivals Charlton Athletic at The Valley.

Murphy started for Karl Robinson's team and stayed on for the entirety, but Rotherham United's win over Middlesbrough means that the Dons are now only a point clear of the bottom three despite claiming a hard-earned draw.

Sheffield Wednesday were also involved in a stalemate with Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium, though loanee Michael Turner wasn't involved in their matchday squad.

Finally Cameron Norman played 90 minutes for Woking in the Vanarama National League, but they lost 2-1 to Eastleigh in a match where both teams finished with ten men.
