Elsewhere in League One, Jamar Loza came off the bench and won Southend United a stoppage-time penalty that Jack Payne converted to a earn a 1-1 draw with Crewe Alexandra.

It was the Jamaica international's fourth appearance for the Essex club since joining them on loan at the end of January.

Coventry City were beaten 2-0 at Barnsley, with both Jacob Murphy and James Maddison featuring for Tony Mowbray's side.

Murphy completed the game while Maddison came on as a 61st-minute substitute, but the Tykes won thanks to goals from Marc Roberts and Ashely Fletcher either side of half-time.

Peterborough United's poor form was extended by a 3-1 loss at Bury. City youngster Harry Toffolo was an unused substitute at Gigg Lane.

Ben Killip was scheduled to play for Lowestoft Town in their home match against Worcester City, but the game was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at Crown Meadow.
