The latest squad news from Colney

CITY boss Alex Neil offered the latest update on injuries when speaking to Norwich City TV on Friday ahead of the Swansea City match.

The headline news is that Alex Tettey will undergo ankle surgery, meaning the midfielder is likely to miss the remainder of the season. Read more about Alex's injury HERE.

Gary O'Neil and Robbie Brady meanwhile, who collided nastily during Tuesday's 2-1 defeat to Chelsea, should make the squad at the Liberty Stadium.

Neil said: "Gary's got a gash on his head, so that will be probably need to be wrapped up. Robbie's teeth were in a bit of a mess, but he's paid a visit to the dentist and got them fixed as much as he can at the moment."

Timm Klose and Jonny Howson also took knocks in midweek, but City's boss confirmed that the pair should be in contention, adding: "They're ok. Timm rolled his ankle a little bit but it wasn't too bad, and Jonny is fine."

Steven Naismith should be fit to return, but defender Sebastien Bassong has missed the Canaries' last two matches and Neil will make a decision on his availability ahead of Saturday.

"He will be another late call. We'll just have to see how he goes between now and game time tomorrow."

Andre Wisdom is definitely out, with Neil commenting: "He's jarred his knee. It's an injury that recurred for Andre, he's had it in the past. To be fair he's nearly finished his rehab, so he will join in training next week."

Finally, striker Patrick Bamford is available for selection once more, having been ineligible to face his parent club in midweek.
