The latest squad news from Colney

ALEX Neil will give Ryan Bennett as long as possible to determine his availability for Saturday's Barclays Premier League meeting with Manchester United (12.45pm).

Bennett missed last weekend's 1-0 defeat at Arsenal through illness and Neil told Norwich City TV that he will make a last-minute call on the defender's suitability for selection.

"Ryan's still struggling at the moment so I'm not quite sure how he's going to be," said Neil.

"He trained for one day at the end of last week and we hoped he was going to be available for the Arsenal match, but he took a turn for the worse.

"We'll need to wait and see. It will be a real last-minute call, it will be determined by how Ryan is feeling and how he feels he can approach the game if he can."

City's only certain absentees will be Timm Klose, Andre Wisdom (both knee) and Alex Tettey (ankle), with the trio set to miss the remainder of the season.
