Defender says City won't give up beliefIVO Pinto says Norwich City will keep fighting to the end following their 1-0 defeat to Manchester United in the Barclays Premier League on Saturday.
A second half strike from Juan Mata proved enough to give Louis van Gaal's side all three points, while simultaneously consigning the Canaries to a fourth consecutive league defeat.
"It's disappointing because we did a lot to win the game," Pinto told Norwich City TV after the game.
"Our supporters were very good and made it an unbelievable atmosphere. We started the game very well to create chances, and in the end probably didn't deserve the result we got.
"That's the big difference between us and other teams. We had the chances but we weren't able to score, then Manchester United had one great chance which they scored from.
"It was that which was the difference in the game."
With a swift turnaround to City hosting Watford on Wednesday as the season edges towards its conclusion, Pinto stressed the need to move on quickly.
"Every game which passes makes it harder but we have to keep fighting," the former Portuguese Under-21s international added.
"We need to start winning games. We have an opportunity on Wednesday which we can't waste; we have to get three points.
"We need to keep together as a team, which we are. While it is possible, we won't quit and stop fighting."
