Our rundown of the City players away with their countries

EIGHT* Norwich City players have joined up with their countries for November's international fixtures.

Russell Martin and Steven Naismith are in Gordon Strachan's Scotland squad for their World Cup qualifier against England at Wembley on Friday, November 11 (7.45pm).

Strachan's men need to pick up points quickly in Group F after a draw against Lithuania and a defeat away to Slovakia during October's round of games.

For Northern Ireland, Michael McGovern and Kyle Lafferty will hope to feature as they play two matches in Belfast in the space of five days.

On Friday, November 11 (7.45pm) they host Azerbaijan in their Group C qualifier at Windsor Park, then on Tuesday, November 15 (7.45pm) they welcome Croatia to the same venue for a friendly.

The Republic of Ireland play away to Austria in Vienna on Saturday, November 12 (5pm), and Robbie Brady and Wes Hoolahan both made the cut in Martin O'Neill's final selection.

In Group C, Alex Tettey's Norway are in action against the Czech Republic in Prague on Friday, November 11 (7.45pm).

Further afield, Youssouf Mulumbu could feature for the Democratic Republic of Congo on Sunday, November 13 (5.30pm) in their World Cup qualifier away to Guinea.

*Timm Klose isn't in their squad but is on standby for Switzerland for their World Cup Group B qualifier at home to the Faroe Islands on Sunday, November (5pm).
