Late Ashley-Seal penalty earns City a point in South Wales

CITY's Under-18s benefited from a late penalty for the second match in a row as they claimed a 1-1 draw away to Swansea City.

Benny Ashley-Seal converted from 12 yards in stoppage time to earn David Wright's youngsters a share of the spoils at Landore, seven days after Devonte Aransibia's penalty had salvaged a result at home to Brighton.

The Canaries had the better of the first half in South Wales but just before the hour mark, Swansea hotshot Liam Cullen edged his side in front with his 12th goal of the campaign.

After the hosts spurned chances to put the game to bed, City's late pressure was rewarded when Ashley-Seal scored from the spot.

Wright next takes his team to Vicarage Road on Tuesday evening for the FA Youth Cup Third Round tie against Watford (7pm).
