Young Canaries claim a point against The Seagulls

NORWICH City's Under-18s claim their first point under David Wright after drawing 1-1 against Brighton in the Under-18 Premier League.

Brighton got the scoring underway early when wideman Archie Davies found the net just two minutes in.

Wright's new side went into the break one goal down after The Albion's early goal.

The second half was goalless until additional time, when City won a penalty and Devonte Aransibia slotted it home to bring City level in the dying embers of the game.

The young Canaries go on to face Swansea in south Wales on November 26 (11am).

FULL-TIME: Norwich City 1-1 Brighton and Hove Albion

Hale-Brown; Aarons, Wallis, Odusina, Syme; Sambu, Kamal; Oddy (Higgs 60), McIntosh (Payne 62), Aransibia; Fleming. Subs not used: Akyeampong-Ekumah, Catton.

David Wright's side were drawn away to Watford in the FA Youth Cup with the confirmed date to follow.
