The latest squad news ahead of Saturday

ALEX Neil has confirmed that Ivo Pinto's groin injury will keep him out of Saturday's visit of Leeds United.

Right-back Pinto pulled up in the warm-up prior to the home defeat to Preston North End a fortnight ago, and having missed last weekend's game at Brighton & Hove Albion he will be unavailable to face Garry Monk's Whites.

Neil will also be without the services of Alex Tettey as the Norway international serves a one-match suspension after he picked up his fifth yellow card of the campaign at the Amex Stadium.

Fellow central players Jonny Howson (ankle) and Youssouf Mulumbu (foot) are also definite absentees, and Neil admits that he is now short of options in the middle of the park.

"We spoke at the start of the season when people were saying we're heavy-loaded in midfield, and to be honest now we're down to what we have left, rather than a plethora of players," he told Norwich City TV on Friday.

"Because of the likes of Alex being suspended, Ivo being out, Jonny being out, it certainly makes it (making changes) a lot more tricky than it would be if everybody was available.

"You've got to make sure you're changing it for the right reasons. That's something we've looked at all week, and hopefully we can make the right decisions tomorrow."

Steven Whittaker (stomach) remains out of contention, while Matt Jarvis is a long-term absentee after he underwent knee surgery in the summer.
