It's the second year of Aviva's nationwide initiative

TODAY our main sponsor Aviva launches the second year of the Aviva Community Fund, a nationwide initiative that lends a helping hand to grassroots sports clubs and community causes close to your heart, offering funding of between £1,000 and £25,000.

This season, the Canaries are proudly displaying the Aviva Community Fund logo across all their kits to raise awareness of the campaign and to encourage people to put forward applications for funding which would make a real difference to their community.
Aviva have introduced a new ‘Sport in the Community’ category, meaning the hundreds of thousands of grassroots sports clubs across the UK can apply or reapply for grants in a sport-specific category this time around.
In its first year, the Aviva Community Fund benefitted more than 323,000 people through 431 winning projects, clubs and causes across the UK. This year there are nearly double the number of awards available so even more chances to get funding.
For more information, and to enter your club for a chance to secure funding, visit or search for ‘Aviva Community Fund’.
A project can be submitted by, or on behalf of, any not-for-profit community organisation or sports club with an average annual income of no more than £5 million. Each project submitted is then responsible for promoting their project to as many friends, family and neighbours as possible to get them to vote for it once voting opens on 21st October.
The entries in the £1,000 category will go to on become winners, subject to due diligence. The finalists in the £5,000, £10,000 and £25,000 categories will go through to be selected by a judging panel and winners awarded funding in January 2017.
